The California Blueprint
Governor Newsom’s 2022-23 Budget, the California Blueprint, directly confronts the state’s largest threats while bolstering strong economic growth and making historic investments in California’s future. The Governor’s plan doubles down on the work of the last several years to respond to COVID-19, the climate crisis – including worsening wildfires and drought, persistent inequality and homelessness, and keeping our streets safe. In total, the Budget includes $9 billion for housing resources and $8 billion for homelessness resources in 2022-23.
On January 10, 2022, the Business, Consumer Services and Housing Department in partnership with other state entities held an informational webinar regarding the housing investments in the California Blueprint.
