Department of Business Oversight
The Department of Business Oversight is comprised of the Division of Corporations and the Division of Financial Institutions. The mission of The Department of Business Oversight is to regulate state-licensed financial institutions, products and professionals in order to provide accessibility to a fair and secure financial services marketplace. The Department serves California by enforcing the state's financial services laws and providing resources to Californians to make informed financial decisions.

Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control
The mission of the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control is to administer the provisions of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act in a manner that fosters and protects the health, safety, welfare, and economic well-being of the people of the State.

California Horse Racing Board
The mission of the California Horse Racing Board is to ensure the integrity, viability, and safety of the California horse-racing industry by regulating pari-mutuel wagering for the protection of the public, promoting horse racing, breeding, and wagering opportunities, and fostering safe racing through the development and enforcement of track safety standards and regulations for the health and welfare of all participants.
